Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale & Spider

Since 2005, Ferrari’s XX program has produced track-only cars that are built to test the limits of performance and gain feedback for future models. The FXX, the first car to come from the XX program, was a track-only version of the Enzo that was offered to a pre-selected group of existing Ferrari customers. Ferrari kept and maintained the FXX and the later FXX Evo, making them available at certain tracks and events to the cars’ owners. Now Ferrari has made the first road-going cars to come from the XX program, the SF90 XX Stradale and SF90 XX Spider. Both cars use the plug-in hybrid system found on the SF90, with further optimizations to increase power by 30, to a total of 1,016. That increase comes thanks to the Extra Boost feature on the electric motors, engaged when the driver floors the throttle in Qualify mode. Officially, the SF90 XX’s 0-60 time is 2.3 seconds, 0.2 faster than the SF90. A fixed rear wing — the first on a street-legal Ferrari in over 25 years — and other aero tweaks to increase downforce, clean up airflow, and improve cooling. 799 SF90 XX Stradales and 599 SF90 XX Spiders will be built — all already sold.
