Lexus LY 680 Yacht | Uncrate

Lexus’ 68-foot yacht spent two years as a Japan-only order through Toyota Marine. Now it’s available in the US. Horizon Group hand-lays the hull in Taiwan, and Lexus applies the same Toyota production system that builds an LS to a shipyard. The 680’s three cabins sleep six, with room for 15 people on board. The flybridge is almost 5 feet longer than the previous LY 650, allowing for lounge seating and a built-in grill, and the swim platform extension lets you launch personal watercraft. Lexus’ automotive history is woven into the yacht’s design process, with the boat’s rising hips emulating the rear quarter of the LC coupe, and the “L-finesse” design language using the same terminology Lexus has used for cars since the early 2000s.
