The original Audi Quattro made its name on rally stages with four-wheel drive and a turbocharged five-cylinder. The Audacious IV, from British builder Audacious Automotive, reinterprets it on a B7 Audi RS4 with a 4.2-liter V8, Torsen all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual. The engine comes in four versions, from 600 supercharged horsepower to V8s that rev to 10,000 rpm. Owners pick hand-formed steel and aluminum bodywork built around an original Quattro’s roof and glass, or an all-new carbon fiber body that needs no donor car. The debut car is trimmed in tan leather and tartan, and Audacious claims 0 to 60 mph in under 3.4 seconds. Commissions are open for up to 50 cars.
