Apple is launching a new service that gives iPhone users access behind the Genius Bar. Starting in early 2022, the Self Service Repair will send willing and capable customers Apple genuine parts and tools to address common damage to screens, batteries, and cameras. Once the repair is complete, used parts can be returned to recycle for a store credit. The new program will begin with just the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 and eventually expand to Mac computers.
