SpeedKore IMSA AAGT Barracuda Concept

At the Grassroots Motorsports 2009 Ultimate Track Car Challenge at Virginia International Raceway, something completely unexpected happened. In a sea of modern cars prepped to set single-lap records, Glen Butch and his heavily-modified ’74 Challenger put on a dominant performance, smashing through the two-minute mark. SpeedKore and Abimelec Design have collaborated on a custom Barracuda that pays tribute to Butch’s Challenger. The Cuda wears a wildly exaggerated carbon fiber widebody kit, with a clamshell hood and massive side-exit exhaust. A roll cage, single racing seat, and supercharged Hemi motor make the concept ready for the track. Now all SPeedKore has to do is build it.
