The Golden Ratio dates back thousands of years, influencing everything from architecture, to music, to the design of Aston Martin’s cars. It’s fitting then that the divine proportion is used to inform the blends of Bowmore’s Masters’ Selection. A collaboration with Aston, it’s based around 61.8% of 21-year-old Bowmore matured in first-fill Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, with the remaining parts, including a rare Bowmore matured for over 35 years, made up of exact ratios of each other in line with the Golden Ratio theory. Delicately blending sweetness, spice, coffee, sherry, honey, and pepper flavors, it’s slated to hit shelves in January 2022.
