All hail the most powerful Range Rover ever — the Range Rover Sport SV. Fully embracing on-road performance, the Range Rover Sport SV makes use of a mild-hybrid, twin-turbo V8 powertrain with 626 horsepower on tap. This enables a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 180 MPH — who needs a cramped two-seat GT when you can have an SUV that pulls similar numbers? Straight-line acceleration isn’t the only story with the Sport SV, however. Range Rover’s hydraulic interlinked 6D Dynamics air suspension system aims to give the SUV prowess in the corners once reserved for low-slung cars with two doors. In another Range Rover first, Brembo carbon ceramic brake discs clamped by SV eight-piston calipers are available as an option. Inside, luxury abounds, with new tech features like haptic feedback seats, dubbed the Body and Soul Seat. The Range Rover Sport SV will be available later in 2023.
