Seventy years later, the Behbehani family’s dealership is still the official Porsche importer in Kuwait, and Porsche has marked the anniversary with the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition: 20 units, finished by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Zuffenhausen, built exclusively for the Kuwaiti market. The exterior is Cremewhite with a SportDesign Black trim package, color-matched 20/21-inch Sport Classic wheels, and Sadu pattern decals along the lower doors and rear wing in Bordeaux Red, Guards Red, GT Silver, and Black, a pattern drawn from a traditional Kuwaiti wool weaving technique inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2020. Inside, a two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red leather interior features hand-stitched cross-stitch throughout, Sadu textile seat centers, headrests embossed with “70 Years” in Arabic, and a Burmester surround sound system. The door sill guards encode the whole story: 20 illuminated squares, with the seventh lit in red, for 70 years and 20 cars.
