Morgan’s first new car since the four-wheeled Aero 8 in 2000 is here with the reveal of the Super 3. Despite its retro steampunk looks, the Super 3 is a legitimate performer, although not in a straight line. Power is provided by a 1.5-liter Ford-supplied three-cylinder making 118 horsepower, good for a 0-60 time of seven seconds. But acceleration isn’t the point — the flyweight chassis and five-speed manual shared with the Mazda Miata is. The low-slung three-wheeler gives an open-air driving experience that can only be matched by very few cars on the market.
