RM Sotheby’s is returning to New York City in December 2023 with a Big Apple icon — one of the two Lamborghini Countachs that starred on-screen in The Wolf of Wall Street. This 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary starred alongside Leonardo di Caprio as he portrayed real-life mogul Jordan Belfort in a nighttime drunken driving scene. Two cars were used; the pristine example here, and another depicting damage from the ensuing wreck. The all-white colorway used on this example is extremely rare, with only 12 believed to have been delivered. The auction will be held as a part of Sotheby’s 2023 Luxury Week.
