Its plain-edge blade is made from 420HC steel and has jimping on the back for baton use, such as splitting logs, a slight recurve for finer tasks, and an overstrike guard. It’s held securely in place with a patent-pending 4 lock system that engages in three positions to ensure safe deployment and closure. Made in the USA, it arrives with a sheath that can be carried on a belt or MOLLE webbing.
