Wallmark House | Uncrate

Designed in 1962 by Mortiz Kundig — father of Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig — the Wallmark House is a landmark residence just outside of Spokane, Washington. Its sited on a wooded 10-acre property on the shore of Long Lake. Restored by its current owners, the 3,400-square-foot interior is like a time capsule, retaining its original terrazzo tile floors, custom teak cabinets, cedar ceiling, and locally-sourced lava stone fireplaces. Multiple skylights wash the interior in natural light while walls of windows envelope living spaces in calming views of the lake. Additional views can be taken in from the expansive outdoor terrace as well as the wood-lined solarium. The mid-century dwelling is for sale for just the second time, making this one rare opportunity.
