In the hierarchy of track-capable Corvettes, the Z06 is the top dog. But you haven’t built the ultimate Z06 unless it includes the Z07 package, which really brings the primo gear: carbon-ceramic brakes, stiffer suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. The Aero package is mandatory, and the optional carbon-fiber wheels should maybe be considered mandatory, such is their salutary effect on both performance and ride. The Z07 package costs $8995 and requires the $8495 Aero package.
