The Porsche Cayenne has been in production for 20 years with no bespoke trailer to tow. Airstream and Studio F.A. Porsche look to rectify this glaring oversight with a concept that integrates Airstream’s classic lines with Porsche’s current design language. The 16-foot single-axle concept uses a smart layout to pack a full wet bath and convertible dining/sleeping area into the floor plan while still being able to fit in a garage. A popup roof adds to the dimensions, while Studio F.A. Porsche refined the traditional Airstream shape with a flush undercarriage and sculpted rear to be more aerodynamic and fit Porsche’s current aesthetic. A one-third-size concept model and computer-generated images will be on display at the 2023 SXSW festival.
