Apple TV+ Picks Up First Oscar Nominations for ‘Greyhound’ and ‘Wolfwalkers’ [Video]

Apple has picked up its first Oscar nominations for ‘Greyhound’ and ‘Wolfwalkers’.

The 93rd Oscars will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021, and will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

Greyhound, written by and starring Tom Hanks, was nominated for ‘Best Sound’. Also nominated in the category is Mank, News of the World, Soul, and Sound of Metal.

Wolfwalkers, directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart, was nominated for ‘Best Animated Feature Film’. Also nominated in the category is Onward, Over the Moon, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, and Soul.

Both Greyhound and Wolfwalkers are available to stream now on Apple TV+.
