Set on Tasmania’s Bruny Island, Vipp Tunnel is an off-grid brutalist concrete retreat. It was designed by architecture firm Room11, with polished concrete surfaces that change color as the sun passes through the chromatic lightwell. The main structure houses an expansive bedroom, bathroom, a signature aluminum Vipp kitchen with high-end appliances, and living space. A short walk away, a multi-functional studio offers a spacious desk and panoramic views, while outside, there’s an outdoor bath, fire pit, and peninsula deck. Designed to accommodate two guests, it’s now open for bookings.
