There are many curious artifacts from Apple’s dark years of the mid-1990s. Among the most desirable are the legendary Apple sneakers. Custom-made by Omega Sports and handed out exclusively to employees at a national sales conference, the sneakers are typical of the era. That is to say, a predominantly white upper, a Reebok-like logo box on the lateral quarter — complete with rainbow Apple logo and Garamond brand type — a large tongue, again sporting the colorful logo, and a faux “Air” cushioning window in the heel. This particular pair is sized 10.5 and is new in the box, meaning the only wear is in the form of age.
