High-performance windings and increased cooling in the two motors allow the AMG-tuned EQS to make up to 751 hp and 752 pound-feet of torque when using launch control—which comes standard.

The MBUX Hyperscreen merges three displays into a unit that extends from edge to edge across the dash. Displays can be personalized, and there is a separate screen for the passenger.

Even the battery in the AMG version of the EQS gets hot-rodded. It’s been rewired for higher charging capacity and shorter recharging times.

Regenerative braking is adjustable via steering-wheel paddles and can be set to a maximum of 300 kW.
