VanMoof is adding more velocity to its iconic e-bike aesthetic with the V, capable of up to 37 MPH. VanMoof’s current S3 and X3 models are limited to a top speed of 25 KPH in Europe and 25 MPH in the US, challenging urban officials to rethink e-bikes as a transportation medium. The V also has another first with its front and rear suspension, seamlessly integrated into VanMoof’s signature styling. Like VanMoof’s other bikes, the V will have no throttle and a non-removable battery but will have the PowerBank range extender as an option. The V is currently under development with a target launch date sometime in 2022.
