Toyota showed it isn’t staying back in the push for electric vehicles, revealing 15 concepts for it and Lexus. The range of cars ran the gamut from urban mobility to SUVs, luxury sedans, sport coupes, and maybe even the rebirth of the MR2. Five of the concepts are part of Toyota’s bZ “beyond Zero” range and use the e-TNGA platform: the bZ compact SUV, a compact crossover; the bZ small Crossover, aimed at Europe and Japan; a tall mid-size sedan, the bZ sdn; and a large three-row SUV, the bZ Large SUV. Another interesting model was an unnamed small two-seat sports car with GR emblems and a possible nod to the MR2 and the Compact Cruiser EV with FJ Cruiser-esque styling. Lexus unveiled the RZ, its first dedicated EV and what might be the follow-up to the LF-A sports car. A full-size Lexus SUV was also previewed.
