Tom Holland Is Ready to Return to Spider-Man 4

Godzilla Minus One‘s Takashi Yamazaki is fascinated to explore another of the Kaiju’s most famous foes. Sherlock’s sidekick gets his own weekly TV series at CBS. Matthew Lillard wants a return to Scream. Plus, Sam Jackson still believes that Star Wars could bring back Mace Windu. To me, my spoilers!

Godzilla vs Hedorah

During a recent panel at New York Comic Con (via Fangoria), Godzilla Minus One director Takashi Yamazaki revealed he’s potentially interested in revisiting the amorphous “smog monster,” Hedorah, when asked which movie in the franchise he’d like to remake.

Godzilla vs. Hedorah. I think that for its time, Hedorah was a very cutting-edge kaiju, and thinking about the type of visual expression we can do with technology and how far it’s come today – I’m imagining how it would move, and I think that would be a really cool remake.

From the World of John Wick: Caine

Speaking with THR, Chad Stahleski confirmed he’s still writing a John Wick spinoff focused on Donnie Yen’s blind assassin, Caine.

These are all going on at the same time. The Donnie Yen feature, we’re building it right now. We’re in the middle of writing it right now.

Spider-Man 4

Appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon (via Comic Book), Tom Holland confirmed Spider-Man 4 begins filming sometime next summer.

It’s happening. Yeah, next summer– Next summer we start shooting, everything’s good to go, we’re nearly there, super exciting. I can’t wait.

Scream 7

Meanwhile, Matthew Lillard stated he believes Stu Macher “definitely” survived having a television dropped onto his head in Scream and is ready to return to the franchise.

Star Wars

By the same token, Samuel L. Jackson also revealed he believes Mace Windu survived being jettisoned from a window in Revenge of the Sith during another recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

There’s a history alone, history of one-armed, one-handed people in the Star Wars Universe. So, just cause they cut my arm off and I fell out a window, doesn’t mean I’m dead. I’m a Jedi! The second-most powerful Jedi in the universe next to Yoda. So, I can float!

Yeah, he’s out there. Yeah, he’s out there walking the Earth with Jules [Winnfield].
