Created by New York-based artist Phil Toledano and Hong Kong watch designer Alfred Chan, the B/1 sold out in under an hour when it launched last week. Interested parties have another chance to own one, via this one-off auction. Unlike the standard model, this example sports a smaller 31mm diameter, with the case, dial, and bracelet made from copper-infused carbon fiber for a unique look. As with the original, it’s powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW100 automatic movement and sports an angular design that references Marcel Breuer’s Whitney Museum and the King Midas Rolex of the ’70s while keeping with the period by incorporating the look of the case into the integrated bracelet.
