Just after the reveal of the Airstream eStream electric camper, Thor has unveiled its Vision electric RV concept with the range RV buyers expect. The Vision can travel up to 300 miles thanks to an integrated battery pack and fuel cell range extender. Thor envisions the fuel cell using a variety of fuels, like LP gas, natural gas, or hydrogen. A suite of electronics is integrated into what Thor terms a digital cockpit, with flat-panel screens controlling everything from the propulsion system to appliances, HVAC, and entertainment system with an emphasis on route planning and Alexa voice control. While a concept, Thor sees the tech on display in the Vision making its way to production models in the near future.
