Lamborghini is sending the Aventador out to pasture with a one-of-one special edition and an exclusive NFT. With Lamborghini pivoting solely to electric vehicles, the Aventador will be one of the last cars to be powered by a V12 and its accompanying aural soundtrack. Lamborghini enlisted artists Krista Kim and Steve Aoki to consult on both the physical car and the NFT. Kim created the gradient color scheme that the car will wear, while Akoi created an audio track. The NFT itself is a 3D model of the last Aventador and comes with Kim and Akoi’s contributions. The actual car is an Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimate, making 769 horsepower with an all-wheel-drive system. The Aventador will go to auction April 19-21 at RM Sotheby’s Monaco event.
