iPhone 13 Production Gradually Accelerating, Could Meet Demand By February [Report]

Apple is struggling to meet demand for its new iPhone 13; however, a new report from DigiTimes claims that production of the smartphone is gradually accelerating and could meet demand by February.

The shortage of IC components emerging in early October for iPhone 13 series is gradually easing as suppliers increase production, with assemblers on track to step up manufacturing through next February to meet terminal demand, according to supply chain sources.

Apple says that chip shortages and pandemic issues cost the company about $6 billion last quarter. Shortages are expected to have an even greater cost this holiday quarter. If you’re planning to purchase an Apple product as a gift, we’d advise ordering early.
