Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD Coupe

Introduced over 50 years ago, the Opel Manta helped kick off the small sports coupe phenomenon in Europe, alongside cars like the Ford Capri. Now the Manta is getting an update for the 21st century with the Manta GSe ElektroMOD, replacing the ICE with a rear-wheel-drive electric drivetrain. Styling is faithful to the original, with modern flourishes like a flat grille with LED strip lights and an illuminated Opel logo. A 147 horsepower electric motor and 31 kWh battery give the Manta a range of over 120 miles, and can charge in just under four hours thanks to an onboard charger. Inside is a revamped interior with Opel Pure Panel digital dashboard. While just a one-off concept, the Manta GSe ElektroMOD is a great look how to keep classic cars on the road for years to come.
