Anyone who’s ever tried to host an outdoor watch party knows having sound to match the visuals is important. The Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro is a new mobile theater station on wheels that puts equal emphasis on video and audio. For the former, there’s a 4K triple laser projector built into the chassis, offering 3,500 lumens for brightness and automatic setup. To handle the latter, it creates a 7.1.4 audio experience with four speakers — two front and two rear — that detach from the base, while two subwoofers built into the base provide low-end pop. Other features include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, built-in Google TV for streaming, and a liquid cooling system for silent operation. The Nebula X1 Pro is fully funded on Kickstarter with deliveries expected to begin in December; it can be ordered on its own or in a bundle with a Soundcore-developed 200″ inflatable screen.
