During this year’s CES, Swarovski Optik introduced its latest innovation. The AX Visio Smart Binoculars harness the power of artificial intelligence to upgrade the nature-watching experience. As you’re viewing, the binoculars can identify wildlife in real-time while capturing photos and videos of your session with a built-in camera. Media is sent to the Swarovski Optik Outdoor App to be downloaded to your phone or device and shared with friends or social media. Observations can even stream live. Marc Newson, the industrial designer behind the AX, found inspiration in the brand’s Habich series, taking a form-follows-function approach to create the ideal combination of simplicity, functionality, and ergonomics. The Swarovski Optik AX Visio Smart Binoculars will be released on February 1, 2024.
