Space Perspective takes a step closer to commercial space travel with the unveiling of Excelsior. Dubbed the world’s largest spaceflight test capsule, the 16-foot pod pairs with Spaceship Neptune to take guests on a journey to the edge of space. It can hold up to eight passengers and a captain inside its pressurized cabin. During the six-hour flight, Explorers can enjoy the onboard amenities, including plush reclining seats, gourmet refreshments, Wi-Fi, and the Space Spa while taking in views of Earth from the 360-degree panoramic windows. After test flights, Space Perspective plans to begin commercial trips in 2025.
