Sirius Hydrogen eVTOL Jets | Uncrate, #Sirius #Hydrogen #eVTOL #Jets #Uncrate
Sirius Aviation is set to debut the world’s first hydrogen-powered regional VTOL aircraft, the Sirius Jet. Using a hydrogen-electric ducted fan propulsion system with 20 fans in the wings and another eight in the canard, it can cruise at speeds of up to 323 mph at an altitude of 30,000 feet while producing just 60 dBa of noise — more akin to a dishwasher than a commercial jet. Two models will be offered: the CEO Jet, with room for three passengers (including the pilot) and a range of 1,150 miles, and the Adventure Jet, with seating for five, a range of 650 miles, and adaptations like inflatable pontoons for water landings and off-grid tools. Both offer the ability to take off and land vertically, just like a helicopter and have airframe parachute systems to reduce incident risks to nearly zero. The company hopes to have them in the air in 2025.
