Utah’s Powder Mountain will have more than just a scenic view as visitors race down the slopes this fall. A part of former Netflix CEO Reed Hasting’s redevelopment of the mountain since taking it over last year, an outdoor museum will be part of the experience. Landscape architect Reed Hilderbrand will be heading up the layout, with Mattew Thompson curating the museum’s works. A small selection of works will be available later in 2024, including a commission specifically for the site by EJ Hill. To come are works by high-profile artists like Nancy Holt, Jenny Holzer, Paul McCarthy, and James Turrell.
