Porsche Design was founded in 1972 to expand Porsche’s aesthetic from sports cars to lifestyle by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of founder Ferdinand Porsche. Marking 50 years of influential design, Porsche has created the 911 Porsche Design 50th Anniversary Edition, limited to 750 units. The car incorporates the first Porsche Design release, the Chronograph 1 watch, in its design elements, along with 50th Anniversary embossed in the headrests and FA Porsche’s signature on the center console armrest. Two exterior colors are available, Black or Jet Black Metallic, with the classic rocker stripe with Porsche Design text and vintage interior touches like check pattern inserts on the seats. Buyers will have the option of also purchasing the Chronograph 1 reissue as well.
