Polaris introduced its first electric UTV with the Ranger earlier in 2021 and is now expanding its EV lineup with the high-performance Ranger XP Kinetic. Polaris partnered with Zero Motorcycles for a huge jump in performance over the Ranger, with 110 horsepower, 140 lb-ft of torque, and 2,500-pound towing capacity. The XP Kinetic rides on heavy-duty suspension with 10 inches of travel and 14 inches of ground clearance with 29-inch off-road tires to make the most of any terrain. Steel bumpers and a full-length skidplate are standard, and the EV drivetrain means much less maintenance versus traditional ICE engines. Polaris is taking reservations now, with deliveries starting Summer 2022.
