Polaris already makes an electric Ranger UTV — the two-seat, 30 horsepower Ranger EV. But last year, Polaris contracted with Zero to use their electric powertrains in Polaris’ UTVs, and this new Ranger will be the first model to take advantage of the deal. That means that the 110 horsepower motor from Zero’s SR/F line of motorcycles is on the table, and likely to make an appearance when the new Ranger launches in December 2021 with deliveries planned for early 2022.
