Darts just got a massive upgrade with Pixeldarts, a digital dart board that’s more than just the traditional game. Designed like a massive GameBoy, Pixeldarts uses sensor chips embedded in the darts and Nerf N-Strike Gun-compatible bullets to bring a variety of throwing games to your wall. Players can now play simultaneously instead of sequentially in an open system that plans to launch with 10 titles. Pixeldarts also supports PICO-8, a “fantasy console” for creating, playing, and sharing custom games and programs, by connecting an external controller. When you’re not gaming, Pixeldarts can display a clock or info like weather, traffic, finance, sports, or idle animations. Pixeldarts has passed its funding goal on Kickstarter with over a month to go.
