Klipsch’s MCL-905 is a professional cinema model that’s never been available for home use. It took a partnership with McLaren to make it happen. Limited to 25 pairs, these massive loudspeakers give the normally industrial build living room appeal. At the top sits a papaya orange high-frequency Tractrix horn mated to a 3″ titanium diaphragm compression driver. Using a support bracket inspired by the tail wings and spoilers of McLaren F1 cars, it’s mated to a wooden cabinet housing dual 15″ K-45 fiber-composite cone woofers. An all-new steep slope crossover helps eliminate frequency bleed, and a Klipsch Professional Cinema metal grille keeps the cool grey motorboard and woofers protected without rendering them invisible.
