Outwardly, the Officine Fioravanti Testrarossa looks like any well-kept, side-straked icon of the 1980s. Underneath, however, Officine Fioravanti has given the Red Head a modern makeover, giving the Italian classic performance that rivals current sports cars. At the heart of the OF Testarossa is the 4.9-liter flat-12, with a new engine block and in-house developed fuel injection making 500 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque at a 9,000 RPM redline — compared to 6,800 RPM stock — good for a 201 MPH top speed. Fioravanti worked with Ohlins to develop an actively dampened suspension system with several driving modes, while Brembo provides the stopping power. Suspension settings, traction control, and ABS can be adjusted by the driver — or turned off completely. The interior remains mostly unchanged, with a retro Bluetooth-enabled cellphone. Officine Fioravanti plans to begin work on customer cars soon.
