Fender is going from making the tools to create music to listening to it with their first-ever turntable. A collaboration with Mobile Fidelity Electronics, this record player has aesthetic touches that make it undeniably Fender, with electronics that will satisfy the most discerning audiophile. The base of the PrecisionDeck is milled from a block of swamp ash and finished in the tricolor sunburst found on Fender guitars and basses and chambered to eliminate resonance. The 6.8-pound platter is made from Delrin, while the tonearm, motor, and electronics are the same as MoFi’s UltraDeck. The Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck is limited to 1,000 units worldwide.
