Land Rover Defender V8 SUV

Later this year, Land Rover’s new Defender will be available with a big upgrade — V8 power under the hood. A 5-liter supercharged V8 making 518 horsepower and 462 lb-ft of torque will top the Defender 90 and 110 ranges, along with new suspension and electronic upgrades to maximize the new power. The Dynamic setting on the Terrain Response sharpens throttle response and acts in concert with variable damping and torque vectoring to give the Defender an almost sports-car-like feel. The top-line Defender V8 Carpathian Edition adds Land Rover’s exclusive Satin Protective Film in Carpathian Grey with Xenon blue front brake calipers and Miko Suedecloth seats. The XS Edition replaces the First Edition, with body-color lower cladding, four exterior colorways, and the mild-hybrid inline-six motor.
