Most sports car manufacturers aim to one-up themselves with each new release. It’s notable, then, when one claims a car is the fastest they will ever make. That’s the case with the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut. Powered by a 5-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, it has up to 1,600 hp on tap, married to a 9-speed Lightspeed transmission. While official numbers have yet to come in, it’s speculated that this combination, along with the sleek shape’s drag coefficient of only 0.278 Cd, will enable the Absolut to reach an unheard-of top speed north of 330 mph, which would make it the fastest production car in history. No release date has yet been announced.
