Launch monitors can provide a ton of data about a golfer’s swing, but it can be tough for amateurs to apply that knowledge on the course. Foresight Sports has teamed with Bushnell Golf on a combination GC3S monitor and Golf Pro X3 Link laser rangefinder package that aims to fix that. It starts with a My Bag assessment on the GC3S and Foresight app to learn the user’s performance & tendencies with their clubs. That data is then synced with the Bushnell app and the rangefinder. Once done, the rangefinder will provide personalized club recommendations, Play As Distances that take into account the user’s trajectory, distances that are tailored to the environmental conditions at the time and location they are playing, and personalized club dispersion patterns overlaid on the course maps so players can make smarter choices. In short, it’s like having a personal caddy on the course, along with all the benefits of a traditional rangefinder and simulation-ready launch monitor.
