Five Shadows House | Uncrate
Designed by CLB Architects, the Five Shadows House balances its rugged surroundings with clean, simple forms. The sprawling compound is situated at the base of the Teton Mountain Range and is enveloped by a forest of aspen and conifer trees. It’s made up of five gabled volumes featuring a stone facade and metal roofs. Each building is organized to provide privacy and create a series of outdoor experiences, including an auto court, swimming pool, and courtyard. Internally, living spaces take a minimal approach with a palette of rift-sawn white oak and white plaster. Strategically placed windows emphasize intimacy while maximizing views of the landscape and the Gros Ventre Range.
