The reborn DeLorean has fully unveiled its next car — the Alpha5 electric concept. DeLorean went back to the designer of the original car, Italdesign, to sculpt the Alpha5. The new design smooths out the DMC-12’s hard edges but keeps its most iconic feature — the gullwing doors. DeLorean aims for a range of 300 miles, a top speed limited to 150 MPH, and a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. CEO Joost de Vries said that the first 88 cars will be track-only examples followed by a production run for street use. A V8 version and SUV are also supposedly being planned.
