1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello | Uncrate

Ferrari’s reputation was built on the track with its racing machines and on the back of its front-engine grand touring cars. At the turn of the century, the 550 Maranello represented the pinnacle of the Ferrari GT, with a 5.5-liter V12 making 478 horsepower wrapped in a Pininfarina-designed body on a sublimely-balanced chassis. With the push toward electrification gaining momentum, it might also be the beginning of the end for Ferrari’s legendary V12s. This 1999 550 Maranello has a striking presentation in Blue Tour de France over a Sabbia leather interior — a very rare combination. Delivered new to Texas, the car has remained with its current New Hampshire owner for over a decade, with a recent major service in February 2023. With only 11,000 miles, this 550 Maranello is an excellent example of what is likely to become a classic.
