Cake is bringing the functional simplicity of its electric motorcycles to a smaller form with the Makka electric moped. Based on the Osa’s frame, the Makka has a telescoping fork and rear monoshock but is designed with the short-trip urban rider in mind. Range is estimated at 37 miles, with a top speed of just over 15 MPH. Where the Makka excels is in its utility, with a modular system that allows for a variety of storage and transportation solutions, from hard cases to baby seats. The battery is also removable, allowing for swapping for charging indoors when the bike needs to be outside. The Makka is available for preorder now.
