Mechanical watches, like motorcycles, are marvels of small-scale engineering. This makes Breitling’s partnering with Deus Ex Machina and Triumph Motorcycle a welcome match. The collaborations’ latest fruit bears in the Top Time Deus and Top Time Triumph. Both are powered by the in-house Manufacture Caliber 01 movement, visible through a sapphire caseback; on the Deus reference, it runs three sub-dials, while the Triumph has two. The Deus model has a black dial with white subdials and a lightning bolt red chrono hand to match the coloring of the outer dial, while the Triumph model has a two-tone ice blue dial with black subdials and an outer tach scale. Both watches have a 41mm stainless steel case and are fitted with a black racing-themed calfskin leather strap.
