The Boeing 747 made its first flight in 1969. As the first “jumbo jet”, it revolutionized air travel. Production ended in December 2022, and to dedicate the occasion, aviation-minded watchmakers Breitling have made a special release. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Boeing 747 mimics the color scheme of the original, with a cream dial, black subdials, red inner slide-rule scale, and blue accents. It’s powered by a Manufacture Caliber 01 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire caseback, and sits on a black alligator leather strap. Fittingly limited to 747 examples.
