German tuner Brabus has worked their magic on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, giving the luxury SUV performance that nearly matches the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car. The Brabus 900 gets its name from the 4.5-liter, twin-turbo engine under the hood. With increased displacement, larger turbos, and strengthened internals, the mill produces 900 horsepower and 922 lb-ft of torque, although limited to 775 ft-lbs in order to protect the drivetrain. The exterior gets a new carbon fiber front fascia, fender flares, and rear diffuser that aid in aerodynamics — top speed is now 199 MPH, with a 0-62 time of 4.2 seconds. The interior receives a makeover with carbon fiber trim and nearly limitless options, including a two-tone color scheme with seashell-stitched seats. Brabus is taking orders for the 900 now.
