The BMW X5 and X6 might be classed as crossovers, with a bit more ride height and all-wheel drive, but underneath the bodywork, they’re genuine BMW. The X5 and X6 already have the German manufacturer’s M performance package, but now BMW is taking it a step further with the Black Fire Edition. Outside, special Sapphire Black Metallic paint covers every surface for menacing monochromatic visuals, including the staggered 21-inch forged alloy wheels showcasing the blue M brake calipers. The interior carries on the exterior theme, with black Merino leather seating surfaces and contrasting red accents, stitching, and Black Fire Edition badges. Both models retain the M 575 hp twin-turbo V8 and suspension components, reminding everyone that although it might look like an SUV, it performs like a BMW.
