Apple is Purportedly Working on a Premium MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone With Reverse Charging
Apple is working on a MagSafe battery pack for iPhone with reverse charging support, claims leaker Jon Prosser.
In a recent Genius Bar podcast episode, Prosser says, “I have information coming this week about those MagSafe battery packs. Yeah, so there’s two of them… There’s a more premium version that does reverse charging.”
Prosser is working on renders of both devices and says his source is not clear if Apple will release just one or both of them. Rumors of a MagSafe battery pack for the iPhone 12 first surfaced last month. Presumably, the reverse charging feature would let users charge their AirPods as well as their iPhone with the accessory.
